Big sky building society limited
A subsidiary of Australian Unity, Big Sky has a comprehensive and competitive range of products and services spanning banking, advice and insurance. As an organisation that returns profits to our customers through competitive interest rates and attentive service, Big Sky is a genuine alternative to the big banks. Like the banks we have a comprehensive range of financial products and services and we operate under the same regulations and share the same government guarantees on our savings products. But unlike the banks, we are not beholden to shareholders. This difference is critical as we are not conflicted at any point in our dealings with our customers.
Our approach is simple; we aim to help our customers meet their financial needs over the course of their entire life, from financial literacy in childhood right through to income maximisation in retirement.
Our customers tell us we’re warm and friendly, and in many instances that trust now extends over decades and amounts to assisting up to 4 generations of family members.

Community First Credit Union Limited
For over fifty years, our focus has been on building financial relationships that deliver value to Members through standards of service superior than our competitors, fairer fees and competitive interest rates on savings and loans. We’ve come a long way from growing up in the 60’s before we powered on swinging in to the 70’s, lived life in the fast lane in the 80’s, swam against the tide in the 90’s and sailed in to the 21st century. And we’re not stopping there.

Country First Credit Union Ltd
Country First Credit Union was established in 1963 as Agriculture Staff Credit Union Co-operative Ltd, changing its name to Agristaff Credit Union less than two years later.
In 1986, it merged with Murrumbidgee Mutual Credit Union and traded under the Agristaff Credit Union name until November 1988. At that time, Agristaff Credit Union’s head office was located in Sydney with regional offices in Griffith and Leeton. It serviced employees and families of the NSW Department of Agriculture. When the Department relocated its head office to Orange, the viability of having a credit union in Sydney decreased.
In 1998 the Credit Union elected to close its head office in Sydney to focus on the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA) through offices in Griffith and Leeton. During this time the credit union changed its name to Country First Credit Union Ltd.
Country First Credit Union Ltd currently has offices in Griffith and Leeton, and an agency in Narrandera.
We are a member-owned democratic organisation focused on your needs. Once you are a member you are entitled to have an equal say in the running of the Credit Union and you are eligible to vote at our Annual General Meetings. Members are welcome to nominate for a position on the Board of Directors when a position is up for re-election.

Credit Union SA Ltd
Credit Union SA is South Australia’s third largest credit union, with seven branches, over $800 million in assets and just under 50,000 Members.
We were formed on 1 October 2009 by a merger between former South Australian credit unions Satisfac and Powerstate, which had their origins in the education and industrial sectors respectively. Both organisations were renowned for their local knowledge, hence Credit Union SA’s chosen tag-line, “knowledge counts”.
As a customer owned banking organisation, we are not driven by the need to return dividends to shareholders in the manner of the major banks. As a result, we’re able to channel the profits we generate back to our Membership and broader community.
This is achieved in the form of innovative new products and services, low fees, great interest rates, high levels of personal service, and community development initiatives and project funding.
Credit Union SA currently has branches in Edwardstown, Golden Grove, Morphett Vale, Sefton Park, the Adelaide CBD – one in Grenfell Street and another in King William – and Port Augusta.
